It seems Teen Mom alum Ryan Edwards is headed for a divorce from his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, following his recent antics on social media. Ryan and Mackenzie tied the knot in 2017 and share a son, Jagger, 4, and a daughter, Stella, 3. Before marrying Mackenzie, Ryan was in a relationship with Maci Bookout from 2007 to 2009 and shares a 14-year-old son, Bentley, with her. Teen Mom fans watched as Ryan and Mackenzie's relationship unfolded on the show. Fans also watched him struggle with addiction so much that he ended up in rehab shortly after tying the knot with Mackenzie.
It's been five years since Teen Mom's Ryan and Mackenzie tied the knot. However, it doesn't look as though their marriage is going on smoothly, if Ryan's recent actions on social media are anything to go by. The 35-year-old sparked speculations of a divorce from Mackenzie when he took to his Instagram page on January 29 to make a now-deleted post. He shared a photo of a quote that read, "I trusted you but now your words mean nothing to me, because your actions spoke the truth." In addition to the quote, Ryan added a caption that read, "Your regret is coming ... good lord showed me what I need but not what I wanted."
Ryan Comments On Mackenzie's IG Post, Says Divorce 'Is The Right Thing'
In addition to his post, Ryan also commented under one of Mackenzie's old Instagram posts that contained a picture of both of them. His comment on Mackenzie's post read, "Take wife down off this. I'm not proud of being married to someone that stays out in bars and goes home with other guys." The father of three also said he couldn't wait for the next day, before asking if one didn't know what happens when they lie with dogs. He concluded, "Wait look who I'm talking to. And then blaming it on my addiction yea divorce is the right thing."
Ryan's deleted Instagram post and comment underneath Mackenzie's old post show there is something wrong with their marriage. It also means everything could be falling apart for the couple after five years of being together and two children. It seems Teen Mom star Mackenzie did something that hurt Ryan, leading him to react the way he did. Ryan's reaction, which may not be entirely ideal to some, is his way of handling the hurt he feels after finding out whatever it was that Mackenzie may have done to hurt him.
Meanwhile, Mackenzie is yet to react to her husband's comments and deleted Instagram post. Also, Ryan hasn't elaborated on his reasons for posting such hurtful comments on his wife's Instagram post.
