Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry says she will never remarry Javi Marroquin. They have had a hard time communicating following their messy divorce, and this statement sure won’t help mend their relationship.
The Teen Mom star married Javi in 2012 and went through a long military deployment which caused the two to drift apart. In 2016, the couple called it quits but still shared custody of their five-year-old son, Lincoln. After the two filed for divorce, Javi began dating Lauren Comeau on and off, and in November of 2018, they had their first son together: Eli Joseph.
Kailyn opened up to Us Weekly about the chance of ever reconciling with her ex-husband Javi, saying she had no desire to extend an olive branch. On the Teen Mom’s podcast, Coffee Convos with Kail Lowry and Lindsie Chrisley, her co-host asked if she would ever choose to be married to the same man more than three times, and Kailyn expressively announced that she “could never marry Javi ever again.” The strong words from the mother of three did not shock her cohost, who acknowledged that fans knew that would likely be the answer.
The MTV personality went on to say that, based on her experiences, she would rather have never been married at all. Even though Kailyn expressed no remorse at her failed relationship, she did say she would hope that in the future there would be a possibility for another love interest. She did not want to take marriage off the table, but said it would really have to be the perfect fit. The mother did shock her listeners by saying that if she were to ever tie the knot again, she was not sure that she would make it legal, but maybe more of a commitment ceremony. The podcasters then made a joke about not pulling a Brody Jenner and getting married in Indonesia, which the girls laughed at, saying they think that was a commitment ceremony that went wrong.
While the reality star has not set plans on ever getting back with her ex-husband, she did have a lot to say when he became engaged to Comeau. Kailyn made a comment on the show that Javi tried to sleep with her while he was dating Comeau, saying he had been cheating on her since day one. For the most part, the two steer clear of one another and just interact for the sake of their son. Kailyn always says on the show that she wished nothing but the best for Javi and hopes he would wish her the same.
