MTV fans are trashing Teen Mom 2’s, Kailyn Lowry. The mother of four allegedly is making her close friends sign NDAs before agreeing to film them on the show, and fans think the notion is ridiculous.
Viewers have already slammed Lowry after she refused to film the aftermath of her September 2020 arrest. It was revealed she punched her ex, Chris Lopez, for cutting their son, Lux’s hair. While talking on her Coffee Convos Podcast, the reality star revealed that she would be open to more transparency if the network made her a producer. Followers of the show feel a bit cheated as they believe she should be open with her entire life, as that is the show’s whole premise.
Teen Mom 2 fans are aware that Lowry recently had a bad falling out with one of her closest friends, Mark Allen. After their fight, he took to social media to blast her openly. Due to this, Lowry has allegedly started to ask those around her to sign NDA forms for her protection. Fans took to Reddit to have their side heard, with one pointing out, “do we think maybe that might be the reason so many of her friends have dropped her and walked out of her life….”
Lowry spoke with Vee Rivera on their podcast Baby Mamas No Drama, where fans learned she had asked both Jo and Vee Rivera and Javi Marroquin to also sign NDAs. According to the mother of four, Javi countered by asking her to sign an NDA for him. She told listeners, “I texted Javi yesterday, and I was like, ‘do you have the NDA, because where is it?’ And he was like, ‘I need you to sign one for me,’ and I was like, ‘OK!’ like bring them on!”
It didn’t seem like Jo or Vee were offended by Lowry asking for an NDA, as they understood where she was coming from. Lowry’s whole goal was to try and protect her children from rumors that can never be erased. But Teen Mom 2 fans didn’t see it the same way and expressed their feelings that they felt the action was rude to force your close friends to sign legal documents; noting if you can’t trust them, why are they your friends at all?
