Star of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry, is expressing interest in having her former castmate Jenelle Evans on her podcast amid her recent divorce announcement. Many fans were relieved when Evans recently took to Instagram and revealed her decision to separate from her husband David Eason in an effort to get her life back on track.
Evans and Eason have been in media headlines throughout the year after Eason admitted to killing their dog Nugget. Shortly after their dog's murder, Evans got locked into a court battle for custody of her three children. To make matters even worse, amid her custody battle, the reality TV star was let go from MTV's Teen Mom 2 and was publicly shamed by her fans for defending her husband after he confirmed that he did, in fact, kill the family dog. After going back and forth to court, Eason and Evans were able to regain custody of their three children - Ensley, Kaiser, and Eason’s daughter Maryssa. After many inconsistencies surrounding Evan's statements, the investigation into Nugget's alleged shooting was closed over the summer. Following her boot from MTV, and her messy custody battle, in October it was revealed that the TV personality would be ending her eyebrow kits due to poor sales.
With all the newsworthy topics surrounding Evans, it's no shocker that fellow Teen Mom 2 alum Lowry is inviting her to be a guest on her podcast. According to US Weekly, Lowry tweeted last Sunday that she wants Evans to appear on her "Coffee Convos" podcast amid her divorce drama. Despite their volatile history, the 27-year-old MTV star responded to a fan who asked, “If the latest news about Jenelle is true, would you and @LindsieChrisley be willing to have her on the podcast to tell her story if she was open to it?”
To the surprise of many, Lowry replied, "For sure! I texted that in my group text with my producers… I just don’t have a way to contact her." Another fan of the show expressed her support of Lowry's tweet, commenting, "I would love for yall to reconnect and see you help her thru this." One of Lowry's followers asked how she feels about Evan's divorce news, and she tweeted back, "One could only hope that this is all true. Despite our differences, her and her kids safety has always been a concern of mine, and now I’m not as worried hearing the latest news."
At one time in their lives, Evans and Lowry were friends and genuinely cared about one and other, however, they recently had a feud after Evan's mom, Barbara joked on Instagram live about wanting to kill Lowry. Regardless of their differences, Lowry seems to have no bad blood and wants to give Evans a platform to speak about her recent separation from Eason. Now that Evans is a single woman, she can focus on her family and getting her career in order, and with Lowry's help - set the record straight.
Teen Mom 2 airs Tuesdays at 8pm EST on MTV.
