Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry shared a glimpse into the process of her home build in a new video that featured her ex Javi Marroquin. Kailyn and Javi got married in 2012 and split in 2016. The coparents share a son, Lincoln, age 7. Kailyn and Javi haven't always been on good terms, but the pair has reconciled as friends and parents in recent years. Fans continue to root for them to get back together.
Kailyn and Javi's relationship took a turn when their divorce involved rumors and speculation from both stars. Javi moved on to date Teen Mom 2 costar Briana DeJesus, fueling an ongoing feud between Briana and Kail. Javi was also engaged to Lauren Comeau, until the pair called off the engagement this year after Kailyn alleged Javi tried to get with her while he was with Lauren. Despite Javi and Lauren's breakup drama, Kailyn and Javi continue to appear friendly with one another in posts on social media. The two are also business partners in kids' sports camps and confirmed they often carpool to work with their kids' schedules. They look closer than ever, but the stars cleared up rumors they were back together and denied any romance between them. Still, Kailyn and Javi are spending plenty of time together and proudly share their bond over their son.
In a new video posted to Instagram Reels, Kailyn shared a sweet moment with Javi inside her new Delaware home that's being built. Kailyn posted a clip of Lincoln, Isaac, her son with Jo Rivera, and Lux and Creed, her sons with Chris Lopez, goofing off in an unfinished room of the construction site. Javi visits Kailyn and the boys and the mother and father handshake and fist bump a couple times while checking out the site together. Kailyn's two sons attempt a game of rock, paper, scissors in the clip to end a dispute about who gets the room once it's finished. Kailyn captioned the video, "When coparenting is solid but rock/paper/scissors is not," adding a laughing emoji.
Fans praised Kailyn and Javi's relationship in the comments of the 16 and Pregnant alum's video. "I love seeing how much the both of you have progressed and are now able to coparent," one Instagram user wrote. "Amazing what an example [you’re] setting to those beautiful boys," another commenter said. Other followers were saw the sweet interaction and encouraged Kailyn and Javi to take their relationship to the next level again. "Uugghhh. You [guys]. I can’t help but want you [guys back] together! Y’all could be a power couple but it seems like growth/maturity needed to happen first,” one fan wrote. “[Please] don’t rule it out!”
Kailyn and Javi have seemingly worked and to maintain a good relationship for their families. Particularly now that they are both single, the drama of their other relationships isn't getting in the way of their friendship. Kailyn has struggled to maintain a good coparenting relationship with her baby daddy Chris Lopez, who she recently attacked on social media for his absence in their children's lives. It appears the opposite is true for Javi's role as a dad for their son Lincoln, and Kailyn looks happy they are making it work. Fans may one day see a confirmation Kailyn and Javi are back together, until then fans can expect more positivity from the Teen Mom 2 stars.
