Jenelle Evans, of Teen Mom, is divorcing her husband David Eason. Fans are relieved that Jenelle has decided to get her life in gear and make smarter decisions.

The freewheeling couple has made the news on more than one occasion - especially after Eason confirmed he did, in fact, kill their dog Nugget. There were also some serious allegations against Evans; she not only lost her dog, but her job on Teen Mom 2 and temporary custody of her three children, all the while being publicly shamed for defending her husband. After going back to court, Eason and Evans recently regained custody of the couple’s three children - Ensley, Kaiser, and Eason’s daughter Maryssa. Fans are still outraged with the inconsistencies surrounding her statements, causing the investigation into Nugget's alleged shooting to be closed. In October, the reality star announced that she was ending her eyebrow kits due to poor sales.

On October 31, the mother of three wrote that she and the children had moved away from Eason as she needed to do what was best for her children. The reality star acknowledged that she was not expecting her marriage to come to an end, but knew now it was the best decision for a positive future.

Evans stunned fans by also telling them that she had filed the papers for divorce on Halloween. She told her fans that she would appreciate the support from everyone who had reached out and asked how she was doing. According to Evans, she and the children are doing just fine and she would be updating her social media soon. The couple shares custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley, and they co-parent Evans' son, Kaiser, who is five. Evans also has a ten-year-old son, Jace, who lives with her mother.

The announcement of the couple’s breakup comes only six months after he shot the family dog and Evans was let go from the hit MTV show. At the time of the shooting, Evans had said that she was seriously thinking of ending her marriage, but had not finalized her decision. Fans of Teen Mom are no doubt hoping that Evans will get her life back on track and maybe one day be welcomed back to the franchise.
