MTV’s Teen Mom OG star Jenelle Evans and David Eason were seen sitting in the front row at this year’s New York Fashion Week. The couple has been known to make the news due to some very unflattering opinions from Eason. Who would have thought that this couple was so fashion forward.
After making a name for themselves on Teen Mom, Eason was removed from the show for homophobic tweets. Then after Eason reportedly shot their family dog, Nugget, MTV decided to not associate themselves with Evans and her chilren as well. In spite of their growing legal issues and reputations, the couple continue to make very public appearances - this time, at Fashion Week. This was not the first New York Fashion Week that the tumultuous couple has attended together. In February, the reality star took her whole family to the Indonesian Diversity Fashion Week 2019 Collections Show where she even hit the runway with daughter Ensley Jolie Eason and her stepdaughter Maryssa Eason. This time, however, Evans left the rest of their family at home, having made for quality time with her husband.
To the surprise of fellow fashion week guests, Evans and Eason both sat front row center on September 7 during the InstaSleep Mint Melts Presents New York Fashion Week Nolcha Shows in which ELF SACKS premiered their latest clothing line and shoes for its spring and summer 2020 collection. E! News caught up with the former Teen Mom 2 star as she worked the step and repeat at the event wearing a striped pattern, tight, mini dress with orange lipstick and black strappy heels, finishing the outfit with a large denim jacket. The reality star’s husband was not to be outdone as he wore orange pants and a white button-down shirt with smart shoes.
The former Teen Mom OG shared on her Instagram Story some behind the scenes photos of the runway show. In one video where a model was wearing a colorful outfit Evans said it was really a goat, pointing out the avant-garde ensemble. Another ex-Teen Mom OG cast member showed up as well; Farrah Abraham was there posing for the cameras with her new blonde wig. The two former MTV members made sure to keep distance between themselves, as they both have bashed one another in the press recently. The controversial couple is still enjoying their trip to New York City as Evans posted their field trip to the Sugar Factory, sharing on social media that they could not possibly eat all of the goodies that were being presented to them.
The couple has undoubtedly had a very rough year after the dog shooting incident earlier this summer. The young couple is trying to make a comeback within the public eye, pacifying fans that are constantly worried about Evans wellbeing. It seems that Evans life has gone back to normal; her kids are back in school, she is not fighting with Eason, and trying to put the Child Protective Services case behind her.
