Nathan Griffith said that Teen Mom starJenelle Evans’ co-parenting relationship is "healthy." The two have had a rollercoaster of a relationship, but it looks as if their friendship is on the mend.
The Teen Mom star has been on the wrong side of fans for the better part of this past year. This is on account of her part in the animal cruelty case in which she lied to the police about her husband killing their dog and then being let go from the hit MTV show. The young entrepreneur recently announced her separation from her husband, David Eason, which gave fans legitimate hope for her future.
Evans' ex-boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, recently told People that he is now “appreciative” of his relationship with the reality star. The ex-Marine also went as far as to say that their co-parenting relationship was “healthy.” Recently, the personal trainer took to his Twitter account to let fans know that he and Evans were getting along. The Teen Mom star even replied to his tweet and thanked him for his help with their son five-year-old son Kaiser. In his social media post, Griffith wrote that he was saddened by how bitter people love the negative drama that surrounded his life.
In his last tweet, Griffith again noted that he and his ex-girlfriend should have had a healthy relationship four years ago, but was still very thankful for the path they were on currently. The once-happy couple did not always get along so well, as documented on Teen Mom 2 when the two would fight constantly between the years of 2013 to 2015. Griffith and Evans were even engaged for a split second before calling it off. Griffith is now in a long-term relationship with Ashley Lanhardt and even had custody of Kaiser during the summer when Evans lost custody of all her children during the investigation of their dog’s death.
Evans did regain custody of her children on July 3 and told her followers that she was eager to show how good of a parent she can be. With her divorce looming over her, the MTV star is gearing up for another custody battle. Evans had to ask for a temporary restraining order in the beginning of November due to her soon-to-be ex-husband’s threats and erratic behavior. Eason also had a very large stockpile of weapons, which caused the Teen Mom star to be scared for her and her children’s lives. Evans is trying her best to get back in MTV’s good graces as she would like to be back on the hit show.
