MTV's Teen Mom icon Jenelle Evans just posted a "classy" new look and fans are loving her surprising change in style. It has been almost 12 years since the then-17-year-old Jenelle (who is open to returning to reality TV) first appeared on MTV's 16 and Pregnant. The season two premiere, coupled with the birth of her son Jace, marked the start of her reality TV journey. Throughout the 2010 season, viewers watched Jace's father Andrew Lewis walk out the door. They also watched Jenelle struggle with becoming a mom at a young age. They saw her going out partying and being too dependent on her mother Barbara for childcare.
The following year, she was a primary personality on Teen Mom. She and her growing and changing family appeared on nine consecutive seasons of the show. America watched Jace, his little brother Kaiser, his stepsister Maryssa and his younger sister Ensley grow up onscreen. Arguably, the same can be said of Jenelle. whose parenting issues and divorce were all filmed and publicly scrutinized until May 2019, when MTV announced that Jenelle would not continue on with the show.
Since her departure from Teen Mom, Jenelle has kept fans updated via social media. Her Instagram posts, YouTube videos, and TikTok reels typically feature her in bikinis, short shorts, and cleavage-bearing crop tops. This is why fans were floored by the pictures that she uploaded to her @j_evans1219 Instagram on June 8, 2021. Jenelle said she was "feeling fancy" in her stylish black wide-legged trousers and cream-colored blouse. Rocking neutral suede heels, she gave hair and make-up credit to Nashville make-up artist Leanna Davis. The comments and likes flooded in.
She posed confidently in her conservative, feminine, and fire outfit, and fans definitely noticed her new style. While those who have followed Jenelle (who's known for clashing with costars) and watched her grow and mature throughout the years may have been shocked by the change, they were definitely supportive. One Instagram user said, "You’ve come a long way girlie you should be proud of the strides you’ve made." And another stated, "You look so pretty and sophisticated!"
How long this new look will last is still up for debate. Jenelle is certainly looking mature, happy, and sober. Whether or not the mini-shorts and revealing bra tops return, people will remember Jenelle's mature look. It showed a new side of the Teen Mom celeb.
