Jenelle Evans, of Teen Mom, has been shaded by her soon-to-be ex-husband David Eason after she recently announced their split. Fans were relieved when Jenelle recently decided to separate from Eason and get her life in gear and start making smarter decisions for both her and her chilren.
The controversial couple has been in media headlines throughout the year after Eason confirmed that he did, in fact, kill their dog Nugget. After their pet dog was shot, Evans was in court battling for custody of her three children. Amid her custody battle, the reality TV star was let go from MTV's Teen Mom 2 and was publicly shamed for defending her husband after he admitted to killing the family's dog. After going back to court, Eason and Evans were able to regain custody of the couple’s three children - Ensley, Kaiser, and Eason’s daughter Maryssa. But many were still outraged with the inconsistencies surrounding Evan's statements. However, the investigation into Nugget's alleged shooting was closed over the summer. After getting the boot from MTV, and dealing with a messy custody battle, in October it was revealed that the TV personality would be ending her eyebrow kits due to poor sales.
Now, one month later and Evans has announced her split from Eason. The North Carolina native took to her Instagram to announce her split from her husband of two years. In her social media post, the 27-year-old Teen Mom star addressed her time away from the hit MTV show and opened up about how she started to view her life differently. She told her fans that she would start to make changes to her life immediately, including divorcing her husband. She went on to reveal that she and her children had moved away from Eason because it was the best decision for a positive futur, - but now Eason is speaking out after Evans announced their split and he is not happy.
The 31-year-old shaded his ex-wife in a series of Instagram Story posts on Sunday, November 3, Us Weekly reports. He first shared a screenshot of a TMZ article about Evans’ request for full custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley. The scorned father of two then shared another screengrab of a TMZ story about Evans' 2018 road rage incident where she pulled out a gun on another driver. He captioned the post, "But this is okay." Eason also posted a photo on Instagram of a daddy-daughter date he went on with his daughter's Ensley and Maryssa, his 12-year-old from his previous marriage. He captioned a picture of the girls playing in the mall, "We had so much fun last weekend! Maryssa wanted to get her ear cartilage pierced but I couldn’t find a place in town to do it under 14 years old. New pair of Van’s it is I guess."
His seemingly shady posts come a few days after Evans took to Instagram on Thursday, October 31 to let her nearly 3 million followers know that she was divorcing her husband. At the time of their dog's murder, Evans had said that she was seriously thinking of ending her marriage, but had not finalized her decision. Fans of Teen Mom are happy to hear that Evans is getting her life back on track and can hopefully be welcomed back to MTV in the future.
Teen Mom 2 airs Tuesdays at 8pm EST on MTV.
