Chelsea Houska of Teen Mom 2 fame has finally decided to open up to fans about why she is quitting the popular MTV show that made her a star. She has always been a fan favorite for her childcare and honest take on her life. The mother of three (soon to be four) quickly made the most of her reality TV success thanks to the MTV franchise and starting out on 16 and Pregnant.

Currently, she's the mother to Aubree, 11, Watson, 3, and Layne, 2, but announced she has another baby on the way. Teen Mom fans know that Chelsea's initial endeavor into motherhood happened with her ex Adam Lind, who is rarely in the picture. The star met her husband Cole DeBoer in 2014 and the two married in 2016.

Fans were shocked to hear back in November that Chelsea had made the decision to leave the show behind. Luckily the rest of the MTV cast supported her decision to put her family first. On December 29, fans watched Chelsea's goodbye episode as she said farewell once and for all.

The mother of three spent ten years of her life on the show. Between a toxic relationship, three hair colors, and beauty school, fans supported her through it all. Chelsea and Cole sat down during the episode as she revealed she had been "questioning" whether she should stay or go after this season. Even though Chelsea told cameras it was "definitely not an easy" decision, but the struggle with the worldwide pandemic mixed with her children getting older seemed like the perfect time to call it quits. Chelsea spoke with her father, who agreed it might be best for her older daughter to end their run, saying,  "That’s what I’m thinking — I feel like a lot of the show has always revolved around her personal life the most, and as she’s getting older, in her teen years, I just feel like that’s not something that needs to necessarily be out there for everyone to have their opinion on.”

There is no doubt that fans are sure going to miss this Teen Mom since she often was the only star with a positive storyline. Once she found her husband and got her life together, she did well for herself, and fans were always happy to share in her success.
