Ashley Jones revealed she would like MTV to replace Dr. Drew when it comes to hosting the Teen Mom reunion specials with Dr. Cheyenne Bryant from the spin-off show. Fans were first introduced to Ashley and her family on Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant, where her struggles with her baby daddy Bar Smith were documented. The two were together for a little while after having their daughter but broke up for a number of reasons. One reason they broke up was Ashley could never get along with Bar's family, specifically his mother. Bar then fell into the wrong crowd and started on the wrong path. Since getting back together with Ashley, Bar has turned his life around, even getting his GED and working towards building a future.

Bar and Ashley joined Teen Mom 2 when original cast member Chelsea Houska quit after season 10. After one season on the show, she signed up for Teen Mom: Family Vacation with moms from both shows. Just a few episodes in, Ashley got into an argument with co-stars Briana DeJesus and Jade Cline about things she said about them on social media. The drama between Ashley and Jade goes all the way back to when they were both on Young & Pregnant. When it was announced that Jade had been offered a role on Teen Mom 2, things got rocky between them, with Jade claiming Ashley was jealous of her. Things spilled over onto social media and never got resolved.

Ashley is now revealing she wants MTV to replace Dr. Drew as the moderator for the Teen Mom reunion specials. Ashley took to Instagram to express her feelings about Dr. Drew and why she wants him replaced. On her Instagram Story, Ashley posted a screenshot from the spin-off show of her holding hands with Dr. Bryant, who has been helping the moms work through their struggles on the show. Alongside the photo, she wrote she would like Dr. Bryant to take over for Dr. Drew from now on, adding she doesn't think Dr. Drew adds anything substantial to the conversation. She claims that rather than helping the moms, Dr. Drew listens to their problems and responds with condescending remarks. Ashley added that it was nice to speak with a doctor who she was actually able to form a bond with and someone who holds you accountable and actually helps you.

Fans of the show took to Ashley's comments section, with most people agreeing with her opinion. One commenter said they agree with Ashley because they feel Dr. Drew goes easy on his favorite moms and thinks it's okay to let people with mental illness off the hook for their actions. They said he never calls them out on their behavior, and he needs to. Another said he never has the right facts, while another called him an enabler. While a majority of the commenters agreed with Ashley, there were a few who stuck up for Dr. Drew. One called him great, while another argued it could be MTV that is holding him back from saying what he really feels to the moms. They said they are given too much control when it comes to the show.

Now that Ashley has spoken out about disliking Dr. Drew's method of handling the reunions, it will be interesting to see if any of the other moms speak out with the same complaints. He has been hosting the reunions ever since Teen Mom first started airing. So it will be interesting to see if MTV decides it'll be appropriate to replace him.
