Star of Teen Mom 2, Chelsea Houska admitted that she wants "at least one more baby" to complete her family. Currently, she's the mother to Aubree, 10; Watson, 2; and Layne, 1.
Teen Mom fans might remember that Houska's initial foray into motherhood happened with her ex Adam Lind. The young couple's relationship and parenting ups and downs played out on the long-running series. Houska was living at home with her father at the time and counted on her dad to provide a stabilizing male presence in daughter Aubree's life. Houska later acquired her GED and attended beauty school. She met her husband, Cole, in 2014 and the two married in 2016.
Houska and her husband started a family of their own, and have practically raised their kids on camera. Although they have a full house, the 28-year-old mother is eager about what the future holds. Houska got candid when she appeared on the November 12 episode of the Don't Tell Mom podcast (via Hollywood Life), revealing that the couple are thinking about expanding their family. She said, "We definitely want one more [baby]." The Teen Mom continued, "At least one. Aubree’s older so she’s easier now … she was a good baby." Houska said, jokingly, "Watson’s a tiny Cole, really sweet and sensitive and the easiest baby ever. Then Layne came and she’s the wildest, feisty baby. Before [she came] we were like ‘Let’s do two more’ but now we’re like ‘Maybe one,'"
She'll have to plan her newest addition around her increasingly busy schedule. Recently, Houska launched a clothing collection with the Lauriebelles boutique. She also collaborated on a diaper bag with Itzy Ritzy. Many of the busy mom's endeavors have been chronicled on season 9 of Teen Mom 2. Despite the good fortune that exposure from a successful show on MTV has brought, Houska admits that she sometimes has reservations about sticking with the series. She's been part of the Teen Mom 2 cast since 2011 and made her television debut on season 2 of 16 and Pregnant. Things are going great now, but she concedes that if her daughter said she didn't want to continue with the show, she wouldn't pressure her.
Ever since her early appearances on Teen Mom 2, Houska has demonstrated that family comes first. She has parented daughter Aubree on camera, despite a contentious relationship with the child's father. Expanding her family at this juncture is wise because of the exposure it gives her on the Teen Mom franchise, as well as the income she's generating from many of her extracurricular opportunities. She and husband Cole can rest assured that as long as they have a connection to the show, there will be enough security to explore new ventures and enjoy being young and in charge of their lives for years to come.
