Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans hinted that the ultrasound photos she recently shared on Instagram weren't actually hers. Fans speculated that the reality TV star was pregnant again after she alluded to it in the caption of the post. The images sent a wave of rumors, implying that the former Teen Mom 2 star was pregnant.
Evans first appeared on MTV's 16 and Pregnant - a show following the lives of teens during their pregnancies and early motherhood - during which time she gave birth to her son, Jace, with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis. She broke up with Lewis shortly after and Evans' mom ended up taking custody of Jace. Following her split from Lewis, Evans was briefly married to Courtland Rogers from 2012-2014 before dating Nathan Griffin, with whom she shares a son, Kaiser. While she and Griffin were engaged, they ended up calling it off, and Evans then met her current husband, David Eason, with whom she shares a daughter, Ensley. However, they recently temporarily lost custody of Ensley and Kaiser because Eason shot the family dog, Nugget, in front of the children after it allegedly attacked Ensley. As a result, Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2. This is why fans thought it was an unusual time for the star to announce a pregnancy.
Evans recently shared an image of a sonogram with the caption "Baby Bump Revealed!" She also disabled comments on the post and directed her followers to click the link in her bio, which led to a story about celebrity baby announcements. She then later shared a post revealing the "real story behind the baby pictures," which led to a Teen Mom Talk Now story (via: PopCulture) about how the ultrasound wasn't in fact Evans'.
The ultrasound images have since brought on rumors that Evans might be pregnant at the worst time possible. Over the last few months, Evan's children - Ensley, Jace, and Kaiser - were staying with family members, and Eason's 11-year-old daughter, Maryssa, is also out of his custody and was staying with family. Although Evans has gone to social media to write about how heartbroken she was about temporarily losing custody, it didn't stop her from remaining faithful to Eason after he admittedly killed their dog, even in the wake of losing her job on Teen Mom 2 and custody of their children over the ordeal. The controversial couple has since shared that custody of their children has been restored.
As for right now, the ultrasound post has since been deleted from Evans' Instagram and it looks as though she and Eason are going to wait to expand their family. For now, fans of Evans will have to wait with bated breath before any official pregnancy announcement is made down the road - if ever. That said, at least her family drama has calmed down a bit.
New episodes of Teen Mom OG air Mondays at 8pm EST on MTV.
