Teen Mom 2 alum Chelsea DeBoer got a surprise from her husband Cole DeBoer in the most romantic way for her 30th birthday. Fans first met Chelsea as a senior in high school on 16 and Pregnant when she had her daughter Aubree in 2009. Chelsea was a cast member on Teen Mom 2 for 10 seasons until she announced she was leaving the show this year. The South Dakota native has come a long way since she first appeared on the MTV series, and her husband set up the sweetest surprise for her milestone birthday.
Chelsea and Cole starting dating in 2014 after the reality star finally got over Aubree's father, Adam Lind. The couple got married in 2016 and share three children; Watson, 4, Layne, 3, and Walker, who was born in January of this year. Chelsea and Cole have been fans' couple goals for years, sharing the build of their picturesque farmhouse home on Instagram. Cole has always been sweet on screen, but he recently took things to the next level for Chelsea's birthday.
Chelsea took to Instagram to share Cole's big birthday gesture. "I'm 1000% sure I married the best man in the entire world," Chelsea captioned a photo of the two sharing a kiss. In an IG photoset, she posted a video of her following arrows drawn on her driveway leading to her garage, where "I LOVE YOU" and "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" were written at the entrance. The garage door opened, revealing Cole standing on scattered rose petals under strung-up lights. The reality TV husband extended a hand to Chelsea while "We Danced" by Brad Paisley played in the garage. "Oh my God!" a giggling Chelsea exclaimed.
Chelsea also shared the written message Cole left her before uncovering his surprise. "So for your 30th birthday I wanted to give you 3 things..." his note read. Chelsea's husband Cole checked a box next to the first item on the note: "#1 Something you need or could use (which you opened today)." He continued, "#2 Something from me from the heart and meaningful [and] #3 Something you really want." Instructions to find the surprise were written at the end of the note. Lastly, Cole asked his wife Chelsea to keep the lights off and use a flashlight he left behind to follow his clues. Cole officially titled the birthday celebration a "private surprise romantic barn dance" in a comment on Chelsea's post. "Love you sweetheart," her husband said in another comment, adding a heart eyes emoji.
Fans were totally blown away by Cole's gesture in Chelsea's Instagram comments. "Help me find my Cole," one user wrote. "I recently rewatched teen mom and I am SOOO glad you found someone that loves and appreciates you," another said. The DeBoers continue to inspire Teen Mom 2 fans with their love story. The mother of four is enjoying life after leaving the MTV series, and Chelsea looks happier than ever. There's no telling what sweet setup Cole may have for Chelsea on her 31st!
