Jason Sudeikis' irrepressibly friendly football coach is back in Ted Lasso season 2, which returned to Apple TV+ on Friday, July 23rd, 2021. Sudeikis plays the titular character, Ted Lasso, an American football coach who is hired as the new manager for a British soccer team despite knowing almost nothing about the sport. Following Ted Lasso's season 2 premiere, new episodes of the comedy series will release on Apple TV+ every Friday at 12am PT / 3am ET / 8am BST. There will be 12 episodes in total, with Ted Lasso's season 2 finale releasing on Friday, October 8, 2021.
Ted Lasso has already been renewed for season 3, with Apple TV+ announcing the news before season 2 even began filming.
