On Dancing with the Stars, Hannah Brown not only won favor with the judges with her dance to Taylor Swift's song "Lover," but apparently the pop star herself also approves. Former Bachelorette Brown and her partner, Alan Bersten, performed a Waltz to the song on the last episode of the popular celebrity dance show.

In the season 28 premiere, Brown and her pro partner Bersten started off strong with a cha-cha that received a combined judges score of 20. This was a very close 2nd place to James Van Der Beek and pro partner Emma Slater's tango, which received a 21. However, that changed after episode 2, which saw Brown and Bersten dance a Vietnamese Waltz to the Swift ballad, which earned them a combined score of 24. This was not only the highest score of the night, but it gave them the highest two-dance total combined score of 44, cementing their position as frontrunners.

The dance performed to the popular Swift song was a hit with judges and fans alike, many of whom took to social media to express their support. But notably, it apparently garnered one very special fan: the grammy-winning artist herself. People noted that Taylor posted a video of the romantic performance on her Instagram story. Making it clear she enjoyed the performance and showing her support for Brown, Swift wrote, “Loving watching @hannahbrown dancing to ‘Lover’ on DWTS!! This performance is so pretttyy & twirly”, over the video. Later, the singer posted again, this time a photo from the performance with a gif of herself clapping to further show what a fan she is of Brown. And the feeling is definitely mutual.

Brown has been a longtime fan of the pop singer. In June, she posted a photo of herself and Swift via social media taken at Wango Tango, an annual day-long concert produced by local Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM where Swift had just performed. In August, she posted another photo with herself, Swift and a group of other celebrities on her Instagram account, where she captioned it, “Sure, I photo bombed this…but come on it’s @taylorswift@tiffanyhaddish, and the gma girl squad. No chill needed”. Brown and partner Bersten have even been said to warm up to Swift's music and he says he's turning into a fan himself.

It hard to know whether performing to one of her favorite artists helped give an added boost to her performance, but one thing is sure, it didn't hurt. As the clear ones to beat in this competition now, fans, which now include Taylor Swift, will have to wait to see what other dances Hannah and Alan have in store and if any of them will be performed to other Swift songs.
