Here's every appearance of Big Kahuna Burger in Quentin Tarantino's movies. Tarantino instantly made a name for himself with his 1992 directorial debut Reservoir Dogs, which was a heist movie that didn't show the actual heist. Thanks to its great dialogue and performances, in addition to the notoriety of the ear slicing scene, earned the director a reputation. That was cemented by his Oscar-winning crime anthology Pulp Fiction, which is often considered his best work and was a landmark movie in its own right.

Quentin Tarantino has gone on to direct several more iconic films, including Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds. His most recent movie was Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and he's set to down tools as a director with his forthcoming tenth movie. That film definitely won't be the R-rated Star Trek project he once flirted with, that was set to feature the crew of the Kelvin Timeline.

Quentin Tarantino isn't a fan of product placement so for his own movies he's invented several fictional brands and chains, such as Red Apple cigarettes or Pulp Fiction's retro Jack Rabbit Slim's restaurant. Another recurring chain is Big Kahuna Burger, and here's every Tarantino directed film they've appeared in thus far.

Pulp Fiction is easily the most prominent example of Big Kahuna Burger "product placement," with Jules naming the restaurant and taking a bite of poor, ill-fitted Brett's burger and declaring "This is a tasty burger!" Naturally, the chain's first appearance came with Reservoir Dogs, with Michael Madsen's Mr. Blond casually sipping from a Big Kahuna soda cup being one of the character's most famous moments. Other mentions of Big Kahuna Burger in the director's filmography are basically easter eggs, but the brand isn't limited solely to Tarantino helmed films.

Big Kahuna Burger appeared in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn - which Tarantino wrote and co-stars in - with George Clooney's thief Seth Gecko picking up some food for himself, his brother and their hostage. A Big Kahuna Burger restaurant later appeared on an episode of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. The brand also appeared in Rodriguez's children's movie The Adventures Of Sharkboy And Lavagirl in 2005. Whatever the currently unnamed final Quentin Tarantino movie ends up being, it feels safe to assume a nod to Big Kahuna and its famously tasty burgers will make its way in.
