Tamy Reconciled With Her Husband After My 600-Lb Life

Another important update that Tamy has shared has to do with her relationship with her husband, James. Just before her gastric bypass surgery, he revealed to her that he had cheated on her. Despite this saddening news, Tamy didn't let it stop her weight loss journey and still stayed on track to get the surgery. The My 600-Lb Life cast member revealed that they managed to work through their problems after the show, and James eventually proposed to her again. Tamy announced the happy news in a Facebook picture she shared on December 25, 2019. On May 4, 2021, Tamy shared that it was her wedding anniversary.

Tamy's life updates haven't all been rosy. She shared another health update that wasn't as savory as her weight loss journey. After suffering severe ankle pain, the My 600-Lb Life star went to see a doctor and got some bad news. She was diagnosed with a degenerative bone disease. Nevertheless, Tamy hasn't let this diagnosis stop her. She still keeps living her life to the fullest and is enjoying spending time with her family.

Against all odds, Tamy made the decision to lose weight and stuck with it, and is enjoying the benefits of that decision. Although it seems like a possibility the show will be returning with more weight loss stories, there has been no official release date for My 600-Lb Life season 11.
