Craftopia is a complex game that requires players to find their own way in a dangerous world filled with wild creatures. Taming these beasts is just the first step to making a sizable dent in the tasks laid out for players. The game works a lot like Pokemon in some respects because of how important these animals are to progression.

Capturing animals is essential to crafting Batteries. Batteries can be used to power homes and to craft special items for the player to use and share with their companions. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of instructions on how to do these important things within the game. Here's how to capture creatures and make batteries in Craftopia.

How to Capture Creatures In Craftpoia

In order to capture and tame animals, players will need to craft a Monster Prism. Monster Prisms are small boxes that can be thrown at an animal in order to capture it. These are easy to make as they only cost 3 Iron Ingot and 2 Sand to craft.

Now that the Monster Prism is crafted, players will need to go out and find an animal they want to capture. A good rule of thumb is to go after animals that are relatively slow, such as the Giraffe or the Elephant. These aren't the easiest to take down, but they won't get far if they try to run away and will produce a decent number of batteries. Players must attack the animal until its health has been lowered to about 1/3rd. The health bar of the creature will turn Pink when they are ready to be captured.

After this point, the process works the same way it does in a Pokemon game. Players will simply need to throw a Monster Prism at the animal and hope for the best. There is a chance that even in their weakened state, the animal will find a way to escape. Players will need to carry enough Prisms to try again if they fail on the first try.

How to Make Batteries in Craftopia

To make Batteries players will need to have captured an animal and secured a Generator. Generators come in a few sizes, but the one most players will be able to craft early on is the Small Generator. To craft a Small Generator, players will need 1 Steel Ingot, 1 Cogwheel, and 5 Wooden Logs. Once the Generator is crafted, players will be able to make 2 or 3 batteries at a time, depending on what type of animal they place inside.

From here, all players need to do is place an animal inside of the Generator. The animal will run on the wheel of the Generator and begin creating Batteries. This will only last for a short time, so players will need to either have multiple animals on hand or multiple Generators.
