Summary

Based on the popular educational video game series of the same name, The Oregon Trail film adaptation comes from director duo Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Lyle, Lyle Crocodile) as a musical rendition. The film has no production studio nor casting, but early searching and shopping have begun as of late 2022 with the additional assistance of Benji Pasek and Justin Paul. The original Oregon Trail story is a survival game of sorts. Players simulate living in the 19th century as pioneers blazing a trail to Oregon from Missouri, hoping to find a better life - while trying to keep caravaners alive and healthy.
