The Kitchen (2019)
Written and directed by Andrea Berloff, 2019's The Kitchen is a Crime film and is based on the DC/Vertigo limited comic book series with the same name. Starring Tiffany Haddish, Elisabeth Moss, and Melissa McCarthy, the plot revolves around a trio of women married to criminals in the Hells Kitchen area. After their husbands are arrested, the women band together to take over the business to survive.

Summary
The wives of New York gangsters in Hell's Kitchen in the 1970s continue to operate their husbands' rackets after they're locked up in prison. This movie is based on The Kitchen by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle. It was first announced in 2017, and shortly after Tiffany Haddish signed on to star. Once the whole cast rounded into shape during 2018, principal photography began in May of that year. Filming concluded in December.
