The Finest Hours (2016)
Based on the real-life rescue of the crew of the SS Pendleton in 1952, The Finest Hours stars Chris Pine as Bernie Webber, a member of the coast guard in Chatman, Massachusetts who is dispatched during a nor'easter to rescue the Pendleton crew after the ship splits in half due to the rough seas. Bernie and his crew brave astronomical odds to order to bring the Pendleton crew home. Casey Affleck, Holliday Grainger, and Eric Bana also star.
