Summary
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will arrive as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 6th phase and will be the prequel to Avengers: Secret Wars, coming shortly after in 2025. At this point, little is known about the film other than Johnathan Majors will be reprising his role as Kang the Conqueror, first appearing in Loki as "He Who Remains." The original Kang Dynasty storyline was penned by Kurt Busiek, where Kang comes from the future with his son, Marcus (the Scarlet Centurion), and aims to conquer the Earth. Many cosmic Marvel heroes take part in the war against Kang, but with a shake-up in the MCU, the roster will likely be very different this time around. Kang will make his newly forged villainous debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in 2023. It's expected many members of the Young Avengers (such as Cassie Lang and Kate Bishop) will be a part of the film as central characters.
