Mortal Kombat X
Mortal Kombat X is the tenth mainline entry in the series and picks up two years after where Mortal Kombat 9 left off. With Shao Kahn defeated, Shinnok breaks the agreements of the tournament and invades Earthrealm with his horde of demons. After the last surviving members of Earthrealm successfully defeat Shinnok, twenty years pass, and once again, forces move to bring Shinnok back - it's up to a new guard led by Johnny Cage to put a stop to the forces of Outworld once again. Mortal Kombat X brings back many of the staples fans expect and introduces several new features, such as the dungeon-crawling Krypt mode, where items, fatalities, and more are unlocked.
