Summary
An elite American intelligence officer, aided by a top-secret tactical command unit, tries to smuggle a mysterious police officer with sensitive information out of the country. The film has been in development since 2015. In July of that year, Mark Wahlberg was confirmed for one of the lead roles, and Peter Berg as director. Their plan is to turn Mile 22 into a franchise and produce two subsequent films down the line. Principal photography began in December 2017.
