Summary
Written and directed by Sam Levinson, Malcolm & Marie follows the story of the titular characters — played by John David Washington and Zendaya, respectively — as they come home following a movie premiere. Their relationship is tested over the course of the film as they face certain obstacles that ultimately puts their love on the line. The film is entirely in black and white, with Levinson having come up with the idea of Malcolm & Marie's plot during the COVID-19 shutdowns that occurred in the spring of 2020.
