Konami is an entertainment/video game developer and publisher located in Japan known for various major gaming franchises that have been in production since the 1980s. The biggest hits from the company include Castlevania, Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and Yu-Gi-Oh, the latter of which is a multi-media franchise that focuses on video and trading card games. The company took an extended break from gaming development but started a major restructure in 2021 to refocus their efforts in the space.
