Summary
In 1892, a legendary Army captain reluctantly agrees to escort a Cheyenne chief and his family through dangerous territory. This is the latest film from director Scott Cooper, who is known for films such as Crazy Heart and Black Mass. The project was first announced in February 2016, which was when Christian Bale became attached. Production started in July of that year in Santa Fe.
