Summary

GRINGO, a dark comedy mixed with white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue, explores the battle of survival for businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) when he finds himself crossing the line from law-abiding citizen to wanted criminal. The film first made progress when Charlize Theron was cast in May 2014. Her co-stars, including Oyelowo, Amanda Seyfried, and Joel Edgerton joined in December 2015, with others coming onboard in 2016. In May of 2016, STX Entertainment acquired the film's distribution rights. Principal photography started in March 2016. This is the feature-length directorial debut of Nash Edgerton, who is star Joel's brother. Want to know more about Gringo?
