Summary
Six strangers find themselves in circumstances beyond their control, and must use their wits to survive. The film was first announced in 2017, when it had the title The Maze. It was renamed Escape Room in May 2018. Originally, the movie was supposed to come out in late 2018, but was moved multiple times before the studio settled on the January 2019 premiere date.
