Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, EARLY MAN tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home.
This is the latest film from Aardman Animations, a studio that is best known for claymation stop-motion projects like Chicken Run and Wallace and Gromit. It was first announced in May 2015, with StudioCanal agreeing to finance the picture. Director Nick Park is tackling Aardman’s most ambitious project to date, and acted out the entire movie in live-action before the animation process began so his team knew what he was looking for.
