Summary
Taking place shortly after the events of Dead Space, Dead Space 2 again puts players in the shoes of engineer Isaac Clarke. After being held against his will by a governmental organization on the massive Sprawl space station, Isaac is freed from his tormentors only to deal with his trauma. Now faced with hellish visions of his late girlfriend, Isaac must fight his deteriorating mental state while also contending with a Necromorph outbreak on the station. A more capable fighter, Isaac combines his crafting skills with a stronger focus on combat to deal with the ever-evolving undead threat. Dead Space 2 also adds multiplayer mode for players to go head to head in. Dead Space 2 was followed by one final sequel to the franchise with Dead Space 3.
