The Carrie Diaries is a comedy-drama television series that aired for two seasons from 2013-2014 on The CW. Based on Candace Bushnell's book of the same name, the show is a prequel to HBO's Sex and the City. Set in 1984, The Carrie Diaries follows the experiences of teenage Carrie Bradshaw, played by AnnaSophia Robb. Austin Butler plays Carrie's love interest, Sebastian Kydd.
