Summary
Blockbuster is an ensemble comedy in the last Blockbuster Video in America that explores what it takes – and more specifically, who it takes – for a small business to succeed against all odds. Timmy Yoon (Randall Park) has worked at this Blockbuster since he was in the seventh grade and has gone up to manager. When the higher-ups tell him that he now manages the final Blockbuster left in the U.S., he struggles to keep the store afloat and his fellow employees happy (and paid) while dealing with competition and his feelings for another co-worker. Blockbuster comes from the writers of Superstore and Brooklyn Nine-Nine and will stream on Netflix on November 3 2022.
