Summary
Directed by Paul Verhoeven, Basic Instinct is a mystery/thriller starring Michael Douglas as detective Nick Curran as he investigates the murder of a music icon named Johnny Boz. When Boz's girlfriend, Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone), is identified as the prime culprit, her seductive mannerisms lure Nick Curran into a tumultuous affair that puts him into the middle of the investigation - and directly in harm's way.
