John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson star in this 2007 film adaptation of Stephen King's short story by the same name. Cusack plays an author who's rather skeptical about anything supernatural. After receiving a post card for a mysterious hotel, with a note not to enter a specific room, the author becomes curious and decides to check things out for himself, only to experience an array of supernatural and horrific events.
