Iconic actor Sylvester Stallone is making the move to reality television with The Family Stallone, a Paramount+ series that will follow him and his family. In May 1997, the legendary star of the Rocky and Rambo film franchises married Jennifer Flavin. They have three daughters, Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20. In August 2022, Jennifer had filed for divorce from Sylvester, but the couple reconciled in September. Sylvester's most recent television project is starring in the Paramount + crime drama series Tulsa King. His daughter, Scarlet, has a recurring role on the show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this spring, Sylvester and his family will star in the docuseries The Family Stallone.

The description of the eight-episode series reads, "Stallone is ready to give cameras access to what he would consider the greatest role of his lifetime: dad. This new series starring Stallone’s three daughters, wife and himself offers a seat at the table of one of Hollywood’s most famous families." A teaser trailer for the network's upcoming programming, including The Family Stallone, will air during the Super Bowl, and was also shared to the Paramount+ YouTube channel.

Sylvester addressed critics of his participation in his reality show, The Family Stallone. He explained that he felt as though he had "wasted a lot of time." Now he realizes, "there are only so many bullets left in the gun. Very few. When you’re young, you’re just haphazardly shooting wildly and hope you hit something. Now you don’t have the luxury of missing—especially with the family and the kids." Sylvester confessed that he finds that to be his "biggest regret." He said that was one of the reasons that he wanted to do the reality show that he has been "taking a lot of s*** for." Sylvester added that he thought The Family Stallone would be "the ultimate home movie." He said that it will give him and his children a chance to work together, and "what you will see is the real truth." Sylvester concluded by saying, "This is a great opportunity. I don’t look at it as stooping to conquer. But each time you go in a different direction, people go, 'Oh God, you must be in [financial] trouble.' Just the opposite."
