The cast members for Survivor 43 have officially been released. The reality survival show has been running strong since May 2000 and fans still find it exciting. This show puts a large group of strangers together in an isolated location, finding their own source of fire and shelter, and forces them to use both their physical and social skills in order to move forward in the game. Contestants face challenges such as running, swimming, and even puzzle solving, and can earn immunity from elimination when doing these challenges.

Contestants are split up into three tribes of six people, forcing them to work together as a team. With food in short supply, 18 hungry people, and intense physical challenges each day, the competition can sometimes be hostile. Host Jeff Probst, hosting the show since it first began in 2000, awarded Maryanne Oketch as the winner in season 42. Season 42 took place in the islands of Fiji and the runner-up was Mike Turner.
