Former contestant of Survivor: Island of the Idols' Kellee Kim went to social media to open up about her experience on the show. Specifically, she's most thankful for all of the love and support fans have given her in the wake of the unwanted touching scandal that was shown on last week's episode.

Kellee continued to express concern over a fellow contestant, 48-year-old talent manager Dan Spilo, for being too touchy as she felt he violated her personal space. She explained that the unwanted touching continued even after making multiple requests for him to stop. Kellee confided in two other female contestants, Missy Byrd and Elizabeth Beisel, and discussed their discomfort regarding Dan - who they accused of also touched them inappropriately without heeding warnings to stop. As it turns out, Kellee ended up getting blindsided the same week she spoke up about Dan's inappropriate actions which sparked outrage among fans, especially after it was revealed that Missy and Elizabeth both admitted to embellishing their reactions against Dan in order to get the votes on their side.

As the moral and social debate continues on, fans are confused as to why Kellee was the one voted out, not the person making women feel uncomfortable or the two women who manipulated their claims in order to get ahead in the game. Still, Kellee has been voted off the island and after the episode aired, she went to Instagram to speak about her experience. She posted a photo of herself smiling, and captioned it, "Am I laughing or crying? Probably a little bit of both!" She wrote about how "lucky" she is to have loving people in her life and "all of the support this season from friends, family, and fans." Check out Kellee's full Instagram post below:

Kellee continued her post, revealing why she decided to apply for the show in the first place, writing, "I first applied to be on the show because of my love for the game but as I went through casting, it became so much more than that." She revealed that what became most important to her was becoming a "positive role model" and made it her goal to "break the stereotypes that still persist in Hollywood, reality television, and society at large." She concluded her post by writing that she hoped she was able to make an impact and, most importantly, "bring a bit of joy and laughter to your Wednesday nights."

Kellee's departure turned out to be one of the most scandalous of the season, but this fan-favorite player isn't going to let being voted off steal her sunshine. More than a Survivor contestant, Kellee has become an icon and symbol for women speaking out against sexual misconduct, and though she was voted off, she still remains one of the favorites of the season. Due to her premature departure, her fans are hoping that Kellee will get a second chance to play and a change for the fan to see her again on an all-star season in the future.
