Over 40 seasons, Survivor has accumulated a multitude of iconic players whose names have stuck in fans' heads over time. There are iconic winners like Sandra Diaz-Twine and Tony Vlachos and fan favorites who have come so close but never cinched the million dollars like Cirie Fields or Malcolm Freberg. Four-time player Ozzy Lusth falls into the second of those two categories. After his runner-up performance on season 13, Survivor: Cook Islands, Ozzy has returned three times, never quite making it to the end.

It cannot be said that any of his stints on the show were boring, though. Although Ozzy's strengths lie in the physical game more than the social one, he has become a quote machine for fans. These legendary Ozzy-isms come from all four of his seasons and range from comical put-downs to emotional reflections on his time in the game.

420! - Cook Islands

Ozzy at Cook Islands Finale

The Survivor Auction is always an iconic challenge, and Cook Islands' auction is perhaps best remembered for the oft-memed moment when Ozzy gleefully bid $420 on ice cream. Not only did he win that bid, but he also won the hearts of America.

Years later, the gif of Ozzy excitedly shouting the humorous number is used constantly by fans. This moment shows Ozzy at his funniest, allowing us to see a rare smile before the bevy of blindsides that would define his later Survivor career.

I Think It's Poetry In The Making. - Micronesia

Jeff Probst Survivor

Survivor: Micronesia contains some of the best Ozzy shenanigans the show has to offer. The most legendary Ozzy moment of the season, in fact, might be his creation of a fake immunity idol in the form of a stick with a face carved into it. This fake manages to fool fan Jason Siska, and when Ozzy realizes that Jason must have found the idol, he delivers this hilariously ominous line.

Knowing now that Jason does indeed try to play the fake idol to save himself from elimination, Ozzy's quote is all the more hilarious. Not only does the fake idol make for some great entertainment, but Ozzy knew even then that Jason's downfall was to be memorable. The line even inadvertently predicts Ozzy's own ironic downfall when he does not play his real idol the very next tribal.

It Was Stupid. It Was Unnecessary. It Didn't Make Any Sense. - Game Changers

Ozzy Standing with Game Changers Tribemates

Ozzy's fourth and final (so far) appearance on Survivor: Game Changers didn't lack legendary Ozzy moments, despite his relatively low screen time. Ozzy's frustrations with Tai Trang go back to the first episode when Tai tells Cirie Fields that Ozzy may not totally trust her. Tai threatens Ozzy's game once again later when he tells Jeff Varner that his close ally Sandra Diaz-Twine is the next to go.

This betrayal of the plan prompts Ozzy's incendiary confessional. Survivor can be a cutthroat, mean game, and sometimes it's the insults that become iconic. This Ozzy quote is one such example of emotions and entertainment value running high.

So Close, So Far Away, Yet Again. - South Pacific

Ozzy Leaning Against Bamboo in Survivor

These heartbreaking lines were spoken toward the end of Ozzy's third run in Survivor: South Pacific, where he managed to skirt two eliminations with the Redemption Island twist. After his second return from Redemption, Ozzy was one immunity challenge away from final tribal council and a shot at the win that had eluded him for so long.

However, eventual season winner Sophie Clarke took the immunity win out from under him with an impressive puzzle performance. Although his fate would not be sealed until tribal council that night, a resigned Ozzy spoke these immortal words shortly after Sophie's immunity win.

Good Job, Guys. Good Luck Eating. - Game Changers

Ozzy Torch Being Snuffed

Ozzy was never afraid to bring up the fact that he provides for his tribe. Countless times he has used his skills at fishing and gathering as a way to convince his tribemates not to vote him out. When he was booted in the early merge of Game Changers, though, Ozzy cheekily warned his tribe one last time of the mistake they were making.

Officially out of the game, Ozzy went out with one last jab at those who blindsided him. Sadly for him, though, the tribe of experienced players didn't seem to miss his fishing that much.

I Think I Might Be The Biggest Idiot Up Here. - Micronesia

Parvati mock crying with the immunity necklace

In his Micronesia jury speech to finalists Parvati Shallow and Amanda Kimmel, Ozzy took the time to profess his love for Amanda, with whom he had a romance with for much of the game. First, though, he took Parvati to task for her backstabbing playstyle.

Parvati was one of Ozzy's closest friends on the island, and while she saw most of her friends in a strategic light, he took his relationships in the game a little more seriously. Realizing his mistake of trusting Parvati, Ozzy delivered this line. A bit of a heartbreaker, a bit of a critique of Ozzy's playstyle, it's still remembered to this day.

Everybody's Trying To Play It Like A Secret Agent. There's Espionage Behind Every Coconut Tree. - Game Changers

Ozzy and Tribe at Tribe Swap in Game Changers

Survivor players love a good simile, and Ozzy's here in Game Changers is a very memorable one. In one of the most strategically complex seasons of Survivor, the paranoia of the game must have felt more real than ever.

This quote's legendary status is increased by the fact that Ozzy says this at his last tribal council, as he was blindsided shortly after making the comment. His read on the game was good in that sense, even if there wasn't much he could do about it.

C'mon, Jeff. That Took Hours To Make. - Micronesia

Ozzy with Idol in Survivor

The saga of the fake idol in Micronesia is probably what Ozzy is most remembered for on that season, and the moment where Jason Siska tries to play the idol is the culmination of an epic storyline of strategy and comedy. It all ends when Jeff Probst declares the carved stick Ozzy crafted is indeed not a hidden immunity idol and throws it into the fire.

Upon the destruction of this handiwork, Ozzy jokes with Jeff by bemoaning the amount of work he put into the obvious fake. Fans still quote this line when referring to the stick saga and fake idol shenanigans in general, cementing its legendary status.

Mutineers Are The First People To Die, Man. - Cook Islands

Cook Islands Final Three at Tribal Council

One of Ozzy's most cutthroat quotes is this threat made to Jonathan Penner and Candice Cody (née Woodcock) after the two abandoned the Aitutaki tribe for the Rarotonga tribe as part of a mutiny twist. Aitutaki then wins the next challenge, despite the apparent disadvantage, and Ozzy boastfully throws out this legendary line.

This iconic prediction didn't turn out to be entirely true, as Penner and Candice would go on to survive at least a few more eliminations each. However, the remaining Aitutaki tribemates, Ozzy included, did manage to outlast every single member of Rarotonga, making up the final four of Cook Islands.

But I Thrive On The Pressure To Come Back In The Game… For Revenge, Basically. - South Pacific

Ozzy at Redemption Island in Survivor

When it seemed like Christine Shields Markowski was going to win her way back from Redemption Island on South Pacific, the Savaii tribe was worried. A member of Upolu returning at the merge would be bad news for Ozzy's tribe, putting them in the voting minority. So, Ozzy hatched a plan: he would get voted out, go to Redemption Island, and beat Christine in the final duel.

This bit of strategy, though, is often overshadowed in the fandom by Ozzy's monologue at the duel, delivered in an effort to convince the Upolu tribe that he was not on good terms with his former tribe. The long speech that resulted is legendary in its entirety, but it's this melodramatic ending that fans quote the most.
