The return of Survivor season 41 is highly anticipated, as there was a year-long hiatus after the Survivor: Winners at War season, and it's time to share information about the cast reveal for the upcoming season. Fans are eager to see who will join Tony Vlachos and others who have snatched the million-dollar prize and Sole Survivor titles. Much of the 41st season has been kept under wraps, leaving fans wondering when they can expect to see a confirmed cast list.

Survivor has been stunning fans with endless twists and advantages, as well as showing the strength of alliances, all with the backdrop of a stunning isolated paradise (most recently, Fiji). Fans had to spend over a year re-watching previous seasons of Survivor to get their fill of the series when production was halted due to COVID-19. Though Survivor is already one of the most dangerous reality TV shows, season 41 is hoping to add to that title with all new challenges thrown at the contestants. These challenges may increase the difficulty of the game.

Survivor season 41 is set to premiere on September 22, meaning Survivor Wednesdays will finally be back! The official cast reveal usually comes a few weeks before the season airs, so fans can expect to see an official release during the last week of August or the first week of September. It appears that there will be no returning players this season, so all new castaways will be trying to outwit, outplay and outlast each other.

Tony Survivor CROPPED

After its 40th season, pitting most previous Survivor winners together in an epic season, fans called out the lack of diversity in previous seasons, leading Survivor casting to make some changes. Starting with Survivor 41, producers stated that they would ensure half of the cast members are people of color. After an entire year of not being able to film the show, Jeff Probst added that the writers and producers not only used the time to recast some contestants but to make the game more challenging. According to Inside Survivor, despite being a shorter amount of days, from the traditional 39 to 26, it may be the hardest season ever.

Probst is synonymous with Survivor and fans will be elated to know that he will continue hosting the show for the foreseeable future. Probst went so far as to call this season a "dawn of a new era," with added challenges for the contestants, also naming it a "monster" of a Survivor season. He provided fans with several teasers about what to expect from the show, especially since it is the first season to be called "Survivor 41" rather than adding a location or theme for the season. Fans should stay tuned for the cast announcement in what seems like a very exciting season of Survivor!
