Hunting supernatural beings is a dangerous job. This is something of which Sam, Dean, and a few other people in the hunting community are well aware. As a precaution, they have made a habit of using fake names while investigating paranormal activity. While some of the names are random, a good number are drawn from pop culture figures.

The aliases always work, as they back it up with appropriate attire. There have been a few occasions when they encountered someone smart. For example, when Dean claimed he was John Bonham, his lie was quickly detected. Instead of being discouraged, the brothers came up with more outrageous aliases.

The boy is on a mission for vengeance for crimes the inhabitants of the small town did years ago.
