After 15 long seasons of Supernatural, there have been a ton of characters to come in and out of the series. Some have been killed off, some have simply gone to continue living their lives quietly, but one thing is for sure in the world of Supernatural. No one is ever really gone, and no one really seems to stay dead.

The characters in Supernatural are all pretty dynamic and different from one another. Some of the characters are demons while others are angles, some are God and the devil themselves. But each character has a stand out personality. Even Sam and Dean deeply contrast each other, which has made their dynamic so entertaining for 15 years. Here is a list of which character you would be based on the Chinese zodiac and the personality traits of each animal compared to the character from the series.

Rat - Charlie Bradbury

Charlie makes her introduction entering Rmman Enterprises in Supernatural

Charlie is a reoccurring character that first made her appearance around season 7 but became a vital character for the boys. She became like a younger sister to Sam and Dean and always seem to bring out a lighter side from within them. Like the Rat, Charlie easily assimulates to the situation around her. Though she learns that ghosts, demons, and the devil exists she still rolls with the punches and agrees to help the Winchesters. Charlie is incredibly quick-witted and optimistic about pretty much every situation she is in.

Ox - God

Chuck smiles in an evil way

God is pretty finicky in Supernatural. When he was first introduced as Chuck, he was thought to be a prophet on Sam and Dean's side. But once he returned (and everyone's theories of him being God was confirmed) he actually came back as one of the lead antagonists. God is stubborn and pretty slow-moving, like the Ox. He enjoys taking his time and doesn't really care about that in which he created. He isn't very good at communicating and lacks sympathy for others.

Tiger - Crowley

Crowley is the perfect Tiger. Tigers are bold and powerful and have a natural leadership that gets them to high places. Crowley was a demon who fought his way up the ladder to become the King of Hell. Like The Tiger, Crowley was extremely ambitious career-wise and did not stop until he achieved his goal. He is straightforward and actually pretty loyal considering he's a demon. He never really goes back on his word, and once he establishes trust with the Winchesters and Castiel, he surprisingly always keeps his promises.

Rabbit - Kevin Tran

Kevin Tran, the prophet in season 7, became a fan favorite due to the fact that he was just a young and normal kid who got wrapped up in a battle between the Winchesters and the Leviathans. Kevin was incredibly humble, kind, and even a bit quiet, much like the Rabbit in the zodiac. He was incredibly likable and made friends with pretty much everyone he met (who wasn't trying to kill him).

Kevin was friendly and compassionate and cared about the Winchesters and their fight to save humanity.

Dragon - Lucifer

Lucifer is definitely the Dragon. He is hot-headed and short-tempered while having a pretty childlike nature that constantly sets him apart from the demons of the series. He has massive daddy issues and doesn't let anyone forget it. But Lucifer is also constantly seeking adventure. Whether that adventure is world domination or attempting to produce the antichrist, he is always energetic about his goals.

Snake - Rowena

Rowena is another complex character in the series and hops between the lines of good and evil on an episode to episode basis, depending on what helps her most in the end. Rowena makes for a perfect Snake, and not because she is sly and cunning. Snakes come off as cold and harsh but really have warm-hearts towards those they care for. Rowena shows this trait pretty often as she is kind of horrible to everyone until she gets to know them. Like the Snake, Rowena also enjoys luxuries and enjoys having it all.

Horse - Dean Winchester

Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester in Supernatural

Dean is the perfect Horse. He is easygoing and is naturally pretty popular, with the ability to easily make friends with those that he meets. Though he is the brother who is a bit rougher around the edges, he has a deeply kind heart and a fun, energetic personality that draws people towards him. Dean is a great hunter, arguably the best, maybe the very best, which also aligns with the Horse who is naturally talented in their fields.

Sheep - Bobby Singer

Bobby was a reoccurring character for a pretty long time during the first half of the series and became something like an uncle or even father figure to the boys. Though he likes to pretend he isn't, Bobby is extremely sympathetic and kind-hearted. He feels for the boys whenever they are upset and tries to help them as best he could whenever they go through any kind of hardship.

Like the sheep, Bobby is kind, warm-hearted, yet still hardworking. He is shy around new people but has a big heart for those he considers family.

Monkey - Jody Mills

Jody looking confused in Supernatural

Jody is a mom, and though she isn't that much older than the Winchester, she sometimes acts like the mom the boys need. She is a cop-turned-hunter and tries to protect those in need. Though the Monkey is often associated with light-hearted, enthusiastic types who love shenanigans, they actually are incredibly intelligent and dedicated. Monkeys dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the work that they enjoy doing, and in Jody's case, that's helping people.

Rooster - Gabriel

Richard Speight Jr. as Gabriel in Supernatural

Gabriel, the archangel and posed trickster God, was a fan favorite throughout the series. Because of his personality, Gabriel didn't really stand on either side when he first met Sam and Dean. He knew what his brother Michael was doing was wrong, but also didn't want to stand up to Lucifer because he still felt for him. It took a lot of convincing, but Gabriel finally joined the side of Sam and Dean. This quality is much like the Rooster, they take a while to formulate plans as they enjoy collecting all the information first. But also like the Rooster, Gabriel loves to make jokes and just have fun. He is a trickster after all.

Dog - Sam Winchester

Supernatural Sam season 1

Sam is loyal, brave, reliable, and extremely responsible, much like the Dog in the Lunar zodiac. Sam has a strong sense of justice and knows when its time to help people, and when it's not. He knows the difference between right and wrong, sometimes even more so than Dean. Sam can be a bit stubborn and is sometimes even seen to be a bit conservative by Dean, much like how people perceive the Dog. Dogs also typically make for good lawyers, which is what Sam wanted to be before dedicating his life to being a hunter.

Pig - Castiel

Castiel in Supernatural

Finally on the list is Castiel. Castiel makes for an excellent Pig because he easily puts his trust in others. He is an angel so he was naturally pure and trusting, which has led him to a few hiccups down the road. Castiel is kind and warm-hearted, he naturally cares deeply for many he meets which makes him easily become friends with those he interacts with. Castiel is pretty honest and doesn't really like lying, especially to the Winchesters, and he always is sincere and focused when trying to complete a task.
