Warning: includes a preview for Infinite Frontier #1!

President Superman is teaming up with a superpowered rabbit, named Captain Carrot, in the new Infinite Frontier miniseries. Over the years, DC Comics has amassed a range of strange heroes and villains. Characters that may come to readers' minds are people like Condiment King and Ambush Bug, who just recently returned to the comics. However, there's another strange character that is set to reunite and team up with DC's ultimate Superman.

The upcoming Infinite Frontier miniseries will pick up right after the events of Infinite Frontier #0. It will follow a select range of heroes, in the aftermath of DC's latest multiverse-shifting event. According to writer Joshua Williamson, the cast of Infinite Frontier aren't going to be part of one big team. Instead, they will be introduced in separate stories as they follow their own paths. However, they will all collide before the conclusion of the miniseries to take on the looming Darkseid, who threatens to destroy the new Omniverse.

In Infinite Frontier #1 by Joshua Williamson, Xermanico, and Romulo Fajardo Jr., Captain Carrot returns to aid President Superman. The last time Captain Carrot was seen was in Dark Knights: Death Metal - Multiverse's End #1, where he proved to be a great hero with serious leadership qualities. Captain Carrot is from Earth-26, a planet of animated beings. As the last surviving member of the Zoo Crew, a team of animal superheroes, he continues their mission by being a hero in the Justice Incarnate. Check out the preview posted on Twitter by Williamson:

Captain Carrot is a member of Justice Incarnate, the multiverse's Justice League. Led by President Superman of Earth-23, Justice Incarnate will play a vital role in stopping Darkseid. Although less emphasis has been put on its other members, heroes like Captain Carrot will show up for at least a bit. President Superman and Justice Incarnate's newest member Barry Allen aka the Flash seems to be where most of the focus will lie. They will, at some point, collide with the other leading heroes of Infinite Frontier. Alongside Captain Carrot and President Superman is Aquawoman of Earth-11, Mary Marvel, and Machinehead, who shouldn't be mistaken for Iron Man.

As a core member of Justice Incarnate, it can be presumed that DC's super rabbit will feature in at least a portion of the issues. Proving his worth in Dark Knights: Death Metal, Captain Carrot is sure to return in Infinite Frontier's next acts. It was confirmed by Williamson that there will be three main acts to DC's Infinite Frontier plans. One that will come shortly after the new miniseries and a third that will debut next year, although it's being written this summer. It's exciting to see a strange hero such as Captain Carrot and someone as strong as President Superman feature so prominently in a big comic event like this.
