Warning: Spoilers for Superman & Lois season 2, episode 7

Superman & Lois season 2’s Tal-Rho reveal explains the show's surprising Bizarro Lana Lang moment. A flashback in Superman & Lois season 2, episode 6 featured a surprise appearance from a super-powered version of Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui). Dressed like a Kryptonian warrior, she attacked Bizarro when he was trying to escape from a government facility.

Bizarro Lana hasn’t been seen in the present-day storyline yet, and at this juncture Earth-Prime’s version of the character isn’t a part of Ally Allston or Bizarro’s journey in the Arrowverse. However, multiple characters over the course of season 2 have been dragged into the show’s Bizarro World story, so more could certainly follow. The latest to be affected by it is Tal-Rho. Formerly known as Morgan Edge, Clark’s Kryptonian half-brother learned about the existence of Bizarro and his hidden dimension during the events of Superman & Lois season 2, episode 7, titled “Anti-Hero”.

From talking to Bizarro, it was discovered that in contrast to their rivalry on Earth-Prime, Tal-Rho’s Bizarro counterpart once had a strong brotherly relationship with Superman. Unfortunately, they were driven apart by Tal-Rho’s wife. The show didn’t reveal her name, but Adam Rayner's Tal-Rho speculated that a woman married to him had to be a “goddess”. Based on what happened in episode 6, it makes sense that Tal-Rho’s mysterious wife in Bizarro World is none other than the Arrowverse's Lana Lang. During her previous fight with Bizarro in his flashback scene, she was seen wearing armor adorned with the House of Rho crest. That confirms a connection between Bizarro Lana and Tal-Rho.

Superman and Lois Clark Kent and Tal Rho In Cell

Tal-Rho’s wife and Bizarro Lana being one and the same seems extremely likely at this point, and not just because of the House of Rho emblem. Lana is clearly an enemy of Bizarro, which also appears to be the case for Tal-Rho’s wife, who Bizarro identified as the reason why he and his brother don’t get along anymore. She must have joined Ally Allston’s side, and may have convinced Bizarro Tal-Rho to join her. As for why she would have powers or be married to Tal-Rho in the first place, it’s possible that some version of his season 1 Eradicator plan was enacted in Bizarro World. Lana Lang may have been the host for a Kryptonian woman.

More about their connection is sure to be explored as Superman & Lois season 2 progresses. Both could emerge as villains for Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) to face off against as his conflict with Ally and Anderson heats up. If Clark ever has to travel to Bizarro World himself, he could end up coming to blows with Bizarro Lana. But if she comes to Earth-Prime instead, the show could deliver some interesting interactions between her and Tal-Rho, who is currently fascinated by her existence.
