The CW's Superman & Lois will continue its story in season three on March 14, 2023, but little is yet known about when the story will pick back up in-world. On Superman & Lois, Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) does his best to maintain his life as the Man of Steel while raising his family in his hometown of Smallville. Clark not only has to battle super-powered villains like Ally Allston, a.k.a. Parasite (Rya Kihlstedt), but also faces a new challenge when his teenage son Jordan (Alex Garfin) develops his own Kryptonian powers.

Superman & Lois season two concluded with Clark defeating Ally and saving Earth, with Clark also establishing a new Fortress of Solitude in the arctic. Additionally, Superman & Lois season 3's villains will include Intergang leader Bruno Mannheim (Chad L. Coleman) and numerous others. It also seems Clark has had little time to breathe since the ending of Superman & Lois season 2.

One Week After Battle With Ally Allston

Per TV Line, Superman & Lois season 3 will take place just one week after the end of season 2. In that time, Clark has joined his wife Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) in working at the Smallville Gazette. Such a short time gap from the end of season two indicates the impact Clark's battle with Ally could have on Superman & Lois season 3.

Superman stopping Earth from merging with the Bizarro world is still going to be a fresh event, and more importantly, it could hint at Ally Allston returning from her defeat in season three. After Superman separates Ally from his Bizarro self, both Allys are imprisoned but still alive. A surprise appearance by Ally re-merged with her alternate self would greatly increase the stakes of Superman & Lois season 3, especially with the villain challenges Clark is already facing.

Where Are All The Characters At When We See Them

In Superman & Lois season 3, Lois will reportedly uncover a devious new enemy through her work at the Smallville Gazette, while her co-worker Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) will be in a new romance. Smallville's mayor Lana Lang (Emanuelle Chriqui) will also still be working out her relationship with her ex-husband Kyle (Erik Valdez), while their daughter Sarah (Inde Navarrette) will navigate new ground after learning about Jordan Kent's still developing powers. Additionally, Lois's father, General Sam Lane (Dylan Walsh), will have come out of retirement and is working for the Department of Defense once more.

Superman & Lois season 3 will also further explore Clark's multiversal ally John Henry Irons (Wolé Parks), learning of his doppelganger's murder. Meanwhile, Jordan and his brother Jonathan (Michael Bishop, replacing Jordan Elsass) will face their own new challenges as brothers approaching adulthood. While much still remains unrevealed about Superman & Lois season three, it looks set to potentially be the show's most emotional and action-packed season yet.
