Superman & Lois is the latest Arrowverse series to join The CW line-up with several new and old faces starring in the DC drama. After having spent several seasons of Supergirl as a recurring guest player, Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel is officially becoming a permanent member of Greg Berlanti's DC TV franchise. Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane will be headlining their own DC series that joins several ongoing Arrowverse shows. While there have been multiple Superman shows in the past, this one will be adding something new to the Man of Tomorrow's media history. Superman & Lois not only focuses on Clark Kent and Lois as a superhero and star reporter but also as parents.

Through the setup in Crisis on Infinite Earths, Lois and Clark's family history got altered from it used to look when they lived on Earth-38. Instead of being parents to a baby Jonathan, Crisis rewrote the continuity where they now instead had two teenage sons as Earth-Prime got created. That will be a central theme to Superman & Lois while also following Clark as one of the world's greatest heroes and Lois as one of DC Comics' iconic journalists. While Supergirl had established a bit of Lois and Clark's respective histories on Earth-38, things will perhaps look a bit different post-Crisis on Infinite Earths.

But just like with any other Arrowverse spinoff show, Superman & Lois will feature several new characters too as part of the cast. Some of them are from the comics while others are specifically created for the show. Viewers will also see a few established characters in the cast, but with some changes. These are every new and returning Arrowverse character that will star in Superman & Lois as series regulars.

Tyler Hoechlin As Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman

Being one of the current live-action versions of Superman, Hoechlin first joined the Arrowverse in 2016 in Supergirl season 2. While having appeared in multiple episodes, the former Teen Wolf star's version of Superman also took part in the last two Arrowverse crossovers. Essentially, Elseworlds and Crisis on Infinite Earths was the "backdoor pilot" for the Superman & Lois series where it set up Clark as not only a future Arrowverse hero but also a father.

Elizabeth Tulloch As Lois Lane

The Arrowverse officially added Lois in 2018 when Tulloch was cast as the iconic Daily Planet reporter. The Elseworlds crossover is where fans first got to meet the Grimm veteran as it also established that this Lois was pregnant, teasing that family life would be part of a possible Superman show one day. It's Lois who, during Crisis on Infinite Earths, got to reveal the big Earth-Prime twist to Clark that they now had two teenage boys.

Dylan Walsh As Samuel Lane

Supergirl season 1 brought General Sam Lane into the Arrowverse as Glenn Morshower played Lois and Lucy's military father. While Sam hasn't been seen since the first season, Superman & Lois are bringing him back as a frequent member of the DC TV franchise. However this time, Dylan Walsh of Nip/Tuck will be playing General Lane who will be a lot more present in Lois and Clark's lives. While he and Superman normally butt heads in the comics, they also work side-by-side which will be seen on the show.

Adam Rayner As Morgan Edge

A Superman villain that appeared in the Arrowverse several seasons ago was Morgan Edge as he was a recurring foe in Supergirl season 3. Just like with General Lane, Morgan will be a main player who was also recast for Superman & LoisTyrant star Adam Rayner will take over for Adrian Pasdar as the new face of Morgan in the Arrowverse. This version of him is now the CEO of Edge EnerCorp while also being up to some evil deeds.

Jordan Elsass As Jonathan Kent

When viewers first met Jonathan, he was just a baby, but after Crisis on Infinite Earths, he's now a teenager. Having recently starred in Little Fires Everywhere, Jordan Elsass will bring Jonathan to life who debuted in DC Comics only 6 years ago and currently operates as Superboy. Whether or not he'll be suiting up and joining his father remains to be seen.

Alexander Garfin As Jordan Kent

Jordan turning back in Superman and Lois

But Jonathan isn't the only (potential) Super-Son that will be seen on Superman & Lois. Through Crisis on Infinite Earths, Jonathan also got a twin brother with The Peanuts Movie's Alexander Garfin playing Jordan Kent who is specifically created for the Arrowverse. While Jonathan is more outgoing, Jordan is the opposite while also dealing with social anxiety. Just like his brother, only time will tell if Jordan will become a superhero like their father.

Emmanuelle Chriqui As Lana Lang-Cushing

Superman and Lois TV show casts Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang

Before Clark found his ultimate love in Lois, there was his first romance with Lana Lang. The Arrowverse version of Lana will be played by Emmanuelle Chriqui who is known for her roles on Entourage and The Mentalist. While she and Clark go way back, when Superman & Lois introduces her, she's now married and has a family in Smallville.

Erik Valdez As Kyle Cushing

Another new character that joins the Arrowverse as an original Superman & Lois character is Lana's husband Kyle Cushing. From previous work such as General Hospital and Graceland, Erik Valdez will play Chriqui's TV husband. Kyle is the fire chief in Smallville while also being seen as a local hero to the town. According to his official character profile, Kyle isn't the biggest fan of people from bigger cities.

Inde Navarrette As Sarah Cushing

The Kent boys won't be the only kids being around regularly on Superman & Lois as there are also the Lang-Cushing kids. Another new face for Arrowverse fans will be Sarah Cushing, Lana and Kyle's oldest daughter, who becomes friends with Jonathan and Jordan. 13 Reasons Why's Inde Navarrette will be portraying Sarah who has some darkness of her own. While her little sister will recur as a guest star, Joselyn Picard will play 8-year old Sarah as revealed via KryptonSite.

Wolé Parks As The Stranger

Last, but certainly not least, there is the main villain of Superman & Lois season 1 who literally is a big mystery: The Stranger. Wolé Parks, who is no stranger (pun intended) to The CW fans after having appeared on The Vampire Diaries, will be playing the foe. So far all that is known is that he is a mysterious visitor that is 100% set on proving to the world that it doesn't need Superman. While there isn't a character named The Stranger specifically in the comics, it's very likely that it's a cover to reveal his actual DC character.

While Parks' face hasn't been seen in any of the trailers, the actor is the armored figure that is battling Superman. Based on the footage that has come out so far, the 90-minute premiere will heavily focus on Clark encountering this new foe. Whether or not his identity is revealed in the premiere, however, is something fans will have to tune in for to find out. But given Superman & Lois is an Arrowverse series, after all, fans will know sooner or later who The Stranger is and why he insists on Superman not being necessary for the world.
