Mods have become incredibly popular in Among Us, the social deduction game from indie studio InnerSloth. Now, a new mod lets players control an Impostor in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. With a great amount of detail and design work, this new mod may be the closest thing fans ever get to an official crossover. Here's everything fans need to know about the new Among Us mod.

There are already some great mods in Among Us. From ones that add new forms of gameplay, like the Color Changer mod, to ones that add in more roles, like the Jester mod, there are a ton for players to choose from and try out. This latest mod, however, adds Among Us Impostors and movesets into Super Smash Bros. - and fans should love it.

As Among Us continues to rise in popularity, fans have created concepts of what an Impostor fighter would look like in Smash Bros. Ultimate. Fans have imagined what the Among Us fighter's moves would be, and have created pieces of art and videos detailing their designs. Even developer InnerSloth has praised some of these fan-made concepts. And now, finally, fans are able to try out an Among Us fighter in Smash Bros. Brawl thanks to a new mod.

How The Among Us Mod In Smash Bros. Works

The creator of the mod, Yutaka, posted a video on YouTube detailing the Impostor's moves and how the Among Us mod works. The moves, which include an F-smash with the classic Among Us killing animation, are pretty impressive. Fans of InnerSloth's social deduction game should be thrilled. A down special makes Impostors Vent, while the Final Smash animation calls an Emergency Meeting, ejects the Impostor into space, and then has them crashing back down, sending opponents flying off the map.

The mod can be downloaded for free from the creator's Dropbox, and it appears to be working smoothly. Other Among Us mods for Smash Bros. Ultimate were taken down by Nintendo last year, so it's unclear how long this Smash Bros. Brawl mod video will stay up on YouTube. Still, it's really cool seeing how an Impostor could play in a Smash Bros. game.

Until an official Among Us fighter releases in Smash Bros. (if it ever does), this latest mod for Super Smash Bros. Brawl may be the closest fans ever get to playing as an Impostor fighter. It's a very promising mod, which has even been praised by InnerSloth on YouTube, and Among Us fans should absolutely love it.
