As we've remarked innumerable times here at Screen Rant, Hollywood is ruled by money. So, it was no surprise when we found out via Film School Rejects that Summit Entertainment has tacked the first full-length trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon to their upcoming film, Bandslam. Hey, if you own a franchise worth hundreds of millions of dollars, you should milk that thing for every penny its worth, even if it means simply rubbing it against all of your other films.
I paid extra to see I Am Legend in IMAX just so I could see an extended trailer for The Dark Knight. The difference was that I wanted to see I Am Legend anyway, so I didn't mind paying the extra five dollars. Does anybody really want to see Bandslam? I suppose it doesn't matter one way or the other. If the screaming throngs of teenagers at the New Moon Comic-Con Panel are any indication, Bandslam will be seeing a modest bump in box office this weekend.
I feel like I already know the answer to this question but here goes: Will you go see Bandslam to catch the first full-length trailer of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. If not, don't worry about it. When the trailer premieres online, we'll make sure to post it here at Screen Rant. In the meantime, check out New Moon's teaser trailer here.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens on November 20th.
